Placing your own ‘I can see the pub’ cache
If you would like to place a pub cache of your own please contact me so I can issue an 'I can see the pub from here #' number. this will avoid duplication and I can add it to the website.
When setting up your cache page please enter the cache name and number in the format shown below.
I can see the pub from here #(Number) - (Location)
You can also cut and paste the following html code into your description using the source option in the description area as shown in the image below. This allows you to show the prepared blurb and the series webpage link.
You can personalise your page by adding your own interesting stuff between the <p> and </p> in the code. Just leave the prefilled sections as they are.

Guidelines

The cache has to be in sight of your chosen pub (even if it is only a distant view)
-

-
Following Geocaching rules, you cannot explicitly name the pub in your description.
-
Cache pages perceived as commercial will not be published. Commercial content includes any of the following characteristics: Overtones of advertising, marketing, or promotion.
-
The pub description cannot suggest or require the finder do any of the following:- go into the pub, interact with the pub staff or purchase anything from the pub.
-
Please use the standard wording for the first line of description as follows - This is the ***th in a series of caches that are placed within sight of that Great British establishment, the pub.
-
The description can include a history of the pub building or location or anything else of interest to the geocaching fraternity :)
